Our dogs are family, they are not just dogs. They live with us, work with us, play with us, protect us, carry us when we need them to, and just simply love us!

My Wonderful Trip to Germany to pick up our
Gwenny Rosalie vom Wasserhäusel
From the first day that I began raising Newfoundlands, I dreamt that one day I would own a Newfoundland from Germany. That dream came true on January 19th, 2012, when I boarded the plane for Germany, my excitement knew no boundaries.
January 20th, I landed in Frankfurt, Germany. Here, I was met by Micha Mirsberger, who took me on the adventure of the autobahn! We arrived at The Mirsberger’s residence in Pretzfeld, where I finally got to meet Iris in person! We were both so very excited to see each other.
I met all of her dogs and I was finally able to meet the puppies. Now for the decision as to who would come home to Canada.
I had chosen Rosie...and Rosie choose me, so the decision was made.
Rosie was to come home to Canada!
Iris and Micha were amazing hosts, I sampled amazing food, explored some beautiful country and I got to spend time with a pack of Newfoundlands. It was an amazing 4 days!
I would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to Iris and Micha Mirsberger for everything!
You have taught us so much in such a short time! I can honestly say I am proud to own a Wasserhäusel puppy!
